POLICIES & DISCLAIMERS

Effective date: 6/1/2024

These policies apply to coaching services provided by CompFit, LLC, operated in Florida. By purchasing or participating in coaching, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. Coaching Terms

Services

CompFit, LLC. provides fitness and bodybuilding coaching, which may include:

  • Customized exercise programming

  • General nutrition education, if legally permitted

  • Supplementation education

  • Progress check-ins and accountability

  • Competition-preparation guidance

  • Bodybuilding or figure posing instruction

  • Reasonable program adjustments

Coaching services and current prices will be disclosed before enrollment.

Client responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Provide complete and accurate information

  • Disclose relevant injuries, limitations, medications, and medical conditions

  • Obtain medical clearance when appropriate

  • Communicate changes in health or circumstances promptly

  • Complete progress reports honestly

  • Follow safety instructions and use reasonable judgment

The client remains responsible for deciding whether to perform an exercise, follow general dietary guidance, or use a supplement.

Communication and check-ins

Check-in schedules, response times, and communication methods are established during onboarding. Missed check-ins or delayed responses by the client do not pause billing or extend the coaching period.

No guaranteed results

Individual results vary based on health, genetics, experience, adherence, effort, recovery, stress, medications, and other factors.

CompFit, LLC. does not guarantee:

  • Weight loss or muscle gain

  • Competition placement or qualification

  • A particular appearance or body-fat level

  • Improved medical markers

  • Results within a specific timeframe

Testimonials describe individual experiences and do not establish what every client should expect.

Coaching materials

Programs, educational resources, check-in documents, videos, and related materials are provided for the enrolled client’s personal use. They may not be copied, sold, published, or distributed without written permission.

Termination

CompFit, LLC. may terminate coaching for abusive conduct, nonpayment, deliberate misuse of services, dishonesty affecting safety, or repeated failure to follow essential safety instructions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Florida law, without limiting nonwaivable rights that apply in the client’s state or jurisdiction.

2. Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel by emailing jcomp06@hotmail.com.

Cancellation requests must be received at least [seven] calendar days before the next billing date to prevent the next monthly charge.

  • Cancellation stops future renewal and billing.

  • It does not retroactively cancel the current paid month.

  • Coaching continues through the paid billing period unless terminated for safety concerns or serious misconduct.

  • Requests received fewer than seven days before the billing date may take effect after the next scheduled payment.

  • Missed check-ins, travel, scheduling conflicts, or nonparticipation do not pause billing.

  • Competition clients should provide notice as early as possible when withdrawing from a prep.

Any automatic-renewal arrangement must clearly disclose the renewal terms in the agreement. Florida has specific disclosure and notice requirements for certain service contracts containing automatic-renewal provisions. Florida Statute §501.165

3. Refund Policy

Monthly coaching payments are nonrefundable once a billing period begins, except when a refund is required by law.

  • No partial-month or prorated refunds are provided.

  • No refunds are issued for missed check-ins, nonparticipation, changed goals, or failure to follow the program.

  • Dissatisfaction with results that were never guaranteed does not qualify for a refund.

  • Duplicate charges and verified billing errors will be corrected.

  • If CompFit, LLC. cancels before providing any services for a paid period, the unused payment will be refunded.

  • A discretionary exception does not create an obligation to provide the same exception later.

If the business qualifies as a Florida “health studio,” additional contract language and cancellation rights—including a potential three-business-day cancellation period—may apply. Florida Attorney General health-studio guidance
